Get in the Game: Estadio BBVA

The SFOI 1,000 is a movement to have the Gospel preached Lord willing at every major sports venue in the world [this includes venues with a capacity of 40,000+ and NBA, Cricket and other venues for professional sports.

Here is the Estadio BBVA, nicknamed “El Gigante de Acero” (Spanish for “The Steel Giant”), is a stadium developed by FEMSAand C.F. Monterrey in Guadalupe, Greater Monterrey. The stadium was opened in 2015 with a capacity of 51,000 people, the fourth largest in Mexico.

Get in the Game: Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex

Here is Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex (officially Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot) is a sports complex located in Medellín, Colombia. The complex includes Estadio Atanasio Girardot, Medellín Sports Coliseum, Luis Alberto Villegas Stadium, and Alfonso Galvis Duque Stadium. It’s currently used mostly for football matches by two teams, Atlético Nacional and Independiente Medellín, two of the most successful and popular football clubs from Colombia with a capacity of 40,043.

Get in the Game: Estadio Alberto J. Armando

Here is the Estadio Alberto J. Armando, an association football stadium located in La Boca district of Buenos Aires. Widely known as La Bombonera (English: The chocolate box) due to its shape, with a “flat” stand on one side of the pitch and three steep stands round the rest of the stadium. It has a capacity of 49,000. The stadium is owned by Boca Juniors, one of Argentina‘s top football clubs.

Here is Estadi Olímpic Lluís Company, a stadium in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The stadium has a capacity of 60,713 and is located in the Anella Olímpica, in Montjuïc, a large hill to the southwest of the city which overlooks the harbor.

Here is RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat, is an all-seater football stadium on the outskirts of Cornellà de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat, in the wider Barcelona urban area (Catalonia, Spain). The stadium has a capacity of 40,500. It is the new home of RCD Espanyol and replaced their previous stadium, the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. It is the eighth stadium in the club’s history.

Here is Merkur Spielarena (stylized as MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA), known previously as the “ESPRIT arena”, is a multi-functional football stadium in Düsseldorf, Germany. The stadium holds 54,600 and has a closable roof. Its special heating system allows the stadium to host comfortable events at the height of winter.

Here is Ernst Happel Stadion, a football stadium in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria‘s capital Vienna. With 50,865 seats, it is the largest stadium in Austria. It was built between 1929 and 1931 for the second Workers’ Olympiad to the design of German architect Otto Ernst Schweizer.

Here is Ellis Park Stadium (known as Emirates Airline Park for sponsorship reasons) is a rugby union and association football stadium in the city of Johannesburg, Gauteng Province, South Africa. It hosted the final of the 1995 Rugby World Cup, which was won by the country’s national team, the Springboks. The stadium was the country’s most modern when it was upgraded in 1982 to accommodate almost 60,000 people.
